The "Magic Ducks" route is a 3.7 km long magical journey through the town of Veisiejai, where 6 symbolic ducks are hidden, revealing the secrets of friendship, wisdom, strength, love and family values . It is a path that not only connects places of interest, but also allows you to get to know the town of Veisiejai through emotions, symbols and stories.
1. The Magical Antler – an introduction to the oldest building in Veisiejai
The journey begins from the right wing of the Veisiejai Manor , where the Veisiejai Regional Park Visitor Center is located. Here you can explore the interactive exhibition "Life among the Waters" . The first antler, quietly waiting in the wooden house, seems to silently invite you to delve into the essence of Veisiejai.
2. Friendship Antenna – a journey through the city
To find the second antler, travel towards the sculpture park , St. George's Church , Sigitas Geda Gymnasium , until you reach the shore of Lake Ančia . Here is the Albinas Jarmala Calendar Museum . Here you will find an antler, reminding you that friendship is born when traveling together.
3. The Antler of Wisdom – History Preserved in a Museum
The third antelle awaits you at the Veisiejai Regional Museum . Here you will hear stories about Ludwig Lazer Zamenhof , the creator of the Esperanto language, composer Juozas Neimontas , and other luminaries of this region. The antelle invites you to look deeper – into the people who created the identity of Veisiejai.
4. The Antenna of Strength – Between History and Nature
The fourth antler is hidden in the Veisiejai Manor Park . On the way, you will pass the old post office building , the former synagogue , the sculpture of Sigitas Geda , and reach a musical, luminous and dancing fountain . Walking along the footpath along the shore of Lake Ančia , near an ash tree that is more than 200 years old , you will find the antler of strength. This is a place where the power of nature, history and human strength merge.
5. Love Antler - On the shore of Lake Ančia
As you walk along the footpath along the shore of Lake Ančia, you will come across the love ant , which is coquettishly hidden on a bench at the observation deck. It reminds you that love lies in simplicity, beauty, and being together.
6. Family Antler – Hidden Among Dzūki Patterns
Finally, you will come out onto the regional road , where if you turn right, you will notice a green house decorated with ancient Dzūka carvings . Next to it is the last antler, symbolizing family values , connecting the entire route into a heartfelt experience.
