In this place, in Paliepio village, on January 28, 1950, partisans of the homeland of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Vytenis of the Šainūnas district of Dainava district were killed by soldiers of the MGB Kapčiamiestis subdivision led by the head of the subdivision Bobkovas: Juozas Braslauskas-Miškas, str. 1915 (1914?) M. Pertako village, Veisiejai district, now Lazdijai district, platoon leader (?) Antanas Dabušinskas-Žvejas, g. 1918 Snaigyno k., Dab. Lazdijai d. and a partisan nicknamed West.
