On March 17, 1945, in Muckus homestead, Strumbagalvė village, Rudamina district, Lazdijai district, a partisan group was discovered by soldiers of the 94th Border Squad of the NKVD army together with the Seinai district of the NKVD. After the restoration of Lithuania's independence, the remains were moved from the burial site to these cemeteries.
