„Dzūkų Magyras“

Bakery

"Dzūkų Magyras" is a bakery that bakes products that correspond to Lithuanian culinary heritage. Starting with traditional rye, black and multi-grain unleavened natural sourdough bread, shakochi, pretzels, mushrooms or anthills and ending with healthy cookies or Western delicacies - cinnamon buns, macarons or delicious Brioche bread. Our products will appeal to both young and old.

To open a bakery in his native Dzūkija - such a dream accompanied chef Valiaus Čepanonis throughout his culinary career. Valius lived this dream for ten years, until he managed one of the capital's best restaurant kitchens and the Lithuanian Association of Chief Chefs and Pastry Chefs (LVVKA), serving as its president.

"When I went to Vilnius to study, from my native village of Dzūkija, located in a beautiful, quiet corner of nature near Lake Galsta, in the village of Laibagalii, I was already hoping to return, having gained life experience, knowledge, and establishing a business. The greatest joy and the best reward when working is knowing that I can fulfill people's wishes and needs with my work, and communicate with them warmly and sincerely. This is what I try to convey every day to my employees, who, together with me, prepare "Dzūki Magyro" delicacies every day."

"Dzūkų Magyro" products can be purchased by ordering individually or during various fairs.

Since May 22, 2019, the branches of "Dzūkų magyro" have been certified with the National Heritage product certificate:
