We invite you to visit the Lazdijai Regional Museum, where an exhibition of book bookmarks collected by Irena Monika Poviliūnienė is on display.
This exhibition showcases bookmarks from around the world, collected and donated over the years. Each bookmark is not only a companion to a book, but also a small memento of places, people, travels, and cultures.
Some of the bookmarks came from distant lands, brought back by friends, relatives, or like-minded people. Others were purchased while visiting museums, libraries, or bookstores. Therefore, each exhibit has its own story – about the country, city, place visited, or people met.
