In the 19th century, the Aradninkai manor (or manor house) became part of the Veisiejai manor - it was a separate economic unit, probably a small manor house with a small lake in Konarciškė (now Aradninkai). The manor house is also called Kanarčiškė, because Kanarskas lived here in the past. It is said that during the wars with the Swedes (17th-18th centuries), a fierce battle took place in these places. In the 1930s, the buildings on this site were already in ruins. In 2016, during exploratory archaeological research, it was found that in the northern part of the territory, under the cultural layer (dating from the 16th-20th centuries), there are also objects dating back to the 5th century AD or even earlier, buried in the ground.
