Summer in Lithuania is a special time. After the cold season, we all miss greenery, sun and fresh air, so we spend more and more time by lakes and rivers: swimming, camping, kayaking or simply relaxing in nature. Unfortunately, along with the abundance of vacationers, garbage often remains, which darkens the landscape and harms nature.
This summer, we invite you to take care of what is dear to all of us – clean lakes and rivers!
Together with SDG, we invite you to organize environmental management initiatives: collect trash on the coast, clean up recreation areas and campsites, involve the community, colleagues or friends.
How to participate?
- Gather a team and plan a cleanup campaign.
- Register it on the "We are working together with SDG" platform.
- Implement the initiative and share its results.
At the end of the summer, randomly selected implemented initiatives will win prizes established by sponsors.
