Have you ever thought that a street in Lazdijai could become a stage? That a city square could turn into a place where you can listen to an open-air concert? That a celebration doesn't require tickets or large stages?
On May 16, Lazdijai will be ringing loudly. The city will be hosting its 20th Street Music Day, and this year's theme is a birthday.
Music will be played at Independence Square and A. Ramanauskas-Vanagas Square. These places will become open stages for everyone that day.
It doesn't matter whether you've been playing for ten years or just learned your first chords yesterday. We invite everyone to join us: young and old, children and parents, amateurs and professionals, musicians, dancers, actors and all creators.

It is symbolic that the music-filled weekend will end with another important occasion: the 428th birthday of Lazdijai.
