On a weekend morning, we invite you to join our stand-up paddleboard (SUP) tour on the White Duck River.
The White Ančia is another impressive river in Dzūkija, charming with its cliffs, fun turns and rapids. We will start at its source near Lake Ančia and swim to Kapčiamiestis, where those who wish can rest. We will continue our journey to the ancient settlement of Pinčiaragis. The route is 11 km long, but due to obstacles and turns, you should plan on swimming for 3-4 hours.
TIME. Please arrive by 12.00, a minibus will arrive to take you all to the starting point, where we will be waiting with all the equipment prepared for you. We start with a briefing, during which you will hear all the necessary information: how to properly get on the paddleboard, how to swim correctly, what to do if you fall, which route to swim and other important rules of conduct on the water. The briefing takes about 15 minutes, then you will swim. The length of the route is about 11 km, which is about 3-4 hours of swimming down the river. You should plan up to 5 hours for the entire tour (with preparation, instructions, packing up after the hike).

CLOTHING. Wear loose, sporty clothing that won't interfere with getting into the water (you can roll up your pants:) Choose your clothing depending on the weather, if cooler weather is expected - have warmer clothes. It is recommended to swim in cool weather with special footwear or sports shoes. The swimming will take place in nature, so don't forget to take care of mosquito repellent, sunscreen and drinking water. We recommend having dry clothes in the car in case you accidentally fall (the probability is very small, but it's better to be prepared).
PRICE. The price of the tour along the White Duck River is 45 Eur (the price includes: briefing, all necessary equipment, transportation from the finish to the starting point).
In the event of very adverse weather conditions (storm, thunderstorm or other dangerous natural phenomenon) that may pose a danger to event participants, the event may not take place at the scheduled time and may be postponed to another date by mutual agreement.
