Lecture "Women Partisans: The Case of the Southern Lithuanian (Nemunas) Partisan Area"

On May 13 at 12:00, we invite you to the lecture "Women Partisans: The Case of the Southern Lithuanian (Nemunas) Partisan Area".
The event will be attended by historians from the Lithuanian Genocide and Resistance Research Center: Ramona Staveckaitė-Notari, Andrius Tumavičius, Enrika Kripienė, Lina Gerdvilytė-Natkevičienė. Let us remember the women partisans of Southern Lithuania who actively fought against the occupier and the Battle of Kalniškė, which took place on May 16, 1945, in which two brave daughters of our land – partisan Albina Neifaltienė-Pušelė and Onutė Vilčinskienė-Drebulė – courageously thinned the enemy ranks. They sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the Motherland.
