Do you still remember what you played in the yard? How did you count? Where was the best place to hide? What were the names of your yard games?
We invite you to a meeting where we will remember childhood playgrounds, games, and their magic.
The lecture will share research on how yard games in Lithuania have changed from the mid-20th century to the present day – what games were played by different generations, how these games were shaped by yard spaces, and how the names of the games changed.
After the lecture, there will be an open discussion, where everyone is invited to share their memories.
Your stories will become part of a research project that will help capture our shared childhood heritage.
