On December 4th at 5:00 PM, we will meet at the Veisiejai Culture House for an appreciation evening dedicated to International Volunteer Day "Taking fills the heart with gratitude, giving fills the heart with gratitude."
This is an evening dedicated to people who give their time, share their care and good deeds, and build stronger communities. We will gather to be together, enjoy fellowship, and thank volunteers for their sincere contributions.
In every community, there are people we can rely on: they help, they bring others together, they contribute to beautiful ideas, and they create change through their daily work. We invite you to notice these people and share their stories.
Each community organization in the Lazdijai district can nominate one volunteer from their community for the "2026 Volunteer of the Year" nomination. Three nominees will be selected from all the proposed candidates, and we will congratulate them at the thanksgiving evening.
We invite you to fill out the candidate questionnaire by November 15: https://forms.gle/EMdopX83yrbi9qJk6
We also invite communities and their members to spend this evening together. We invite 4-5 people from each community to register.
We invite you to fill out the participant registration form by November 20: https://forms.gle/fLY9E1nvjhMX5dq16
During the evening, we will celebrate and congratulate the nominees for "Volunteer of the Year 2026", listen to music, and have time for cozy conversations and fellowship over a cup of coffee.
