Take the challenge to circumnavigate Lake Dusia in 6 hours. We meet on November 29 from 10:00 to 10:15 at the Meteliai Regional Park Visitor Center on the shore of Lake Dusia. The route is 24 km long.
We will hike along the sandy shore of Lake Dusia, wander among the century-old oaks of the Rinkotas forest, climb the Prelomciškės hillfort, and wander through the steppe meadows. You will hear the history of the development of this region, which dates back to the Stone Age. We will see small flocks of migrating waterfowl - whooper ducks and swans. If our legs still allow, we will visit the Bijotai forest swamp.
Bring snacks and soft drinks. There are no wet spots on the route, so rubber boots are not required.
