Exhibition of Rimantas Dichavičius's photographs "Names that have become signs of our time"

The exhibition "Names that have become signs of our time" by Rimantas Dichavičius, a professional photographer and winner of the Government Art Prize at the Lazdijai Public Library, exhibits portraits of the most prominent Lithuanian artists - painters, sculptors, graphic artists, heraldry creators. Among them are Algimantas Švėgžda, Šarūnas Sauka, Antanas Kmieliauskas, Birutė Žilytė, Šarūnas Šimulinas, Juozas Malinauskas and others. As R. Dichavičius, who recorded them, says, all these people created a visual picture of Lithuania with their works.

• The photographer R. Dichavičius has said that the cycle of portraits of the most prominent Lithuanian artists (more than 400 photographs) was not specially created, but over the course of decades, it seemed to merge into a whole.
• Albums of artists' works are also exhibited at the exhibition.
