On June 3rd at 10 am, we invite you to meet at Piemenėliai Pentecost!
The traditional festival will once again invite everyone who misses living tradition, sincere communication, and the true Dzūki spirit to gather at the Pranas Dzūkas homestead. Here, songs will be sung, circles will spin, traditional eggnog will be steamed, and the old Pentecost customs will be revived in fellowship and fun activities.
PROGRAM:
- 9.30 – registration of participants
- 10.00 – performances by folklore groups, artisan workshops and presentations of traditional crafts
- 11.30 – tasting of traditional egg dish baked over a campfire
- 12.30 – joint dances, circles and games, inviting everyone to get involved
