One kilometer southeast of the town of Veisiei, in the village of Kailiniei, in the northwestern part of Lake Snaiginas, there is a 15-meter-high observation tower of the Veisiei regional park. Not only the beauty of the Snaiginas lake with all three of its islands opens up from it, but also the Veisiei panorama. This tower was built in just six weeks from metal structures weighing 25 tons. Its geometry is simpler, but its architecture is exceptional: it resembles a cup, which the spiral staircase that surrounds it raises to the observation deck. Visually light and unburdened constructions give the building grace and lightness.
In December 2022, the Veisiei observation tower lit up with the most beautiful colors. The mentioned tower is equipped with a modern lighting system with 16 LED lights. The colors emitted by the lamps change, many different lighting options can be programmed, with different colors and various other light effects.
Lighting on-off schedule:
- All year round: according to astronomical time, from dusk to midnight.
