Ilgis lake is located about 2.5 km west of Kapčiamiestis. The lake is located in the eastern hollow, surrounded by the Kareivonii forest (pine forest).
There is a large camping ground next to it. It has 4 gazebos with furniture, two benches, two toilets, 10 tables, 97 benches, 5 sculptures.
