I was born and raised in the cozy village of Giraitė, I studied at Šventežeris secondary school, whose principal predicted a literary future for me. However, my path turned to Kaunas Food Industry Technical School, which I graduated with honors. The diploma opened the door to working in my specialty in Alytus, at the "Alita" combine. Alytus is my second home, because my children were born there, and the most precious years passed there. Having lost my favorite job,
In 2000, I went to England. While working there in agriculture, and later becoming a quality inspector for vegetables and fruits, my thoughts were always in Lithuania. For me, writing is like conversations with children, relatives and friends, who were far away at the time, but also very close. This is how my first book “Do Strawberries Turn into Ferraris” appeared in 2015, in 2016 - the second “Why am I still there” and in 2018 - the third “How a dream becomes reality”. In 2020, the first book was translated into English.
"The Deceitful Coin of Life" is a tribute to Mamyte and the whole understanding that certainty lies not in money, documents or dates, but in our experiences and feelings. Now my home is where my heart is, I am a frequent guest in Lithuania, but still stuck in England.
