Nature conservation event "Is this beauty from the puddle?"

Cognition of nature
Did you know that there are as many as 13 species of amphibians in Lithuania, and they can all be divided into 2 categories: tailed and tailless? Have you seen the crested newt and the pride of Veisiejai Regional Park - the European tree frog up close? Have you ever wondered what kind of bird the croaking of the red-bellied toad resembles? And why is the male pointed-nosed frog blue in early spring? We invite you to find out all this and more in Veisiejai Regional Park, during the event dedicated to amphibians "Is this beauty from the pond" on May 9 at 10 a.m.!
First, we will meet at the visitor center and listen to stories about different amphibians, their features and other characteristics. We will not forget to show the visitor center exposition! And after going to the park's meadows and ponds, we will look for and observe the behavior of amphibians, how they differ, and listen to the choir of nature. After all, spring brings not only warmth to nature, but also an extraordinary amphibian concert!
During the event, we will complete various tasks, play games, and enjoy the spring weather!
We look forward to your arrival!
Filming and photography will be done during the event.
