The organizer of the plein air is the Craft Center "Menų kalvė" (Forge of Arts), a division of the Druskininkai Cultural Center, and the author of the idea is Juozas Kavaliauskas, a blacksmith from Druskininkai.
We are pleased that some of the participants in the plein air are Juozas Varnelis and Tomas Pacaitis from Veisiejai.
The theme of the blacksmith "sunflowers" created by this year's plein air participants is the work of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis and its influence, commemorating the 150th anniversary of his birth.
The opening of the exhibition is attended by:
Ingrida Griniūtė, head of the Druskininkai Cultural Center's branch, the Craft Center "Menų kalvė".
The author of the idea is Juozas Kavaliauskas, a blacksmith from Druskininkai.
Breeders Juozas Varnelis and Tomas Pacaitis.
The exhibition will be on display until December 13, 2025.
