On the first Saturday of August, we invite you to a hike in Veisiejai Regional Park "Back to the Past: In the Footsteps of Emilia Pliaterytė"! We will hike in the vicinity of the villages of Vainežeris and Mėčiūnai - we will visit the defensive fortification "Okopka", one of the oldest manor parks in Lithuania - the Vainežeris Manor Park, whose history is connected with the Lithuanian warrior Emilia Pliaterytė and Pustelnykos Ragas or better known as the ancient settlement of Mėčiūnai!
