11:00 a.m. – Holy Mass at St. Anne's Church
After them, the festive procession will stop to honor the fallen and freedom defenders at the Gen. Adolfas Ramanauskas-Vanagas and Lazdijai Independence Monuments.
At 12:20 p.m., the artistic program "Dream of Lithuania" will begin at the Lazdijai Cultural Center, and we will symbolically open the doors to "Villa Lituania", which has been revived for only one day, and will tell the story of the longest-held and unoccupied territory belonging to Lithuania.
During the festive event, the traditional February 16 awards will be presented - Angels of Freedom statuettes for merits to the Lazdijai region and the state.
