Albinas Šileika is a folk artist and official from the Utena district, whose favorite hobby for many years has been wood carving. In his work, he subtly combines tradition, meticulousness, and respect for Lithuanian ethnoculture.
In his free time, the author actively contributes to the promotion of culture throughout Lithuania - he organizes exhibitions and educational classes for children and adults. During these classes, he shares knowledge about carving traditions, the creative process, and reveals how unique patterns are created on spindles, spindle whorls, and other items.
At the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to get to know the author's works up close, feel the vibrant spirit of Lithuanian carving, and perhaps find inspiration for your own work.
