Exhibition of bookmarks from the collection of Irena Monika Poviliūnienė

An exhibition at the library presenting the work of collector Irena Monika Poviliūnienė A collection of bookmarks collected from books. The centerpiece of the exhibition are bookmarks by one of the most famous Lithuanian artists – Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis.
The tabs become a small work of art. They invite the visitor to stop, look, and remember that even the smallest everyday objects can be meaningful, full of history and aesthetics.
The exhibition is intended not only to honor the memory of Čiurlionis, but also to foster book culture and reading traditions.
