February 16th is a special day for Lithuania.
On February 16, 1918, the Council of Lithuania announced at its meeting that it was “restoring an independent, democratically organized state of Lithuania.” More than 100 years later, we can enjoy an independent and free Lithuania, and we have the opportunity to admire its nature and get to know it!
So on this occasion, we invite you to an educational event at the Veisiejai Regional Park Visitor Center – “Discover the wonders of nature in Veisiejai Regional Park”!
What will we do and what will we learn during the education?
- We will travel through six stops and get to know the animals of the Dzūkija forests, various sounds of nature, the lakes of the Veisiejai Regional Park, exceptional trees and plants, cultural heritage, and various creative tasks will help you remember everything!
- On February 15, at 12 noon, we will meet at the Veisiejai Regional Park Visitor Center (Santarvės g. 9, Veisiejai).
- The cost of education per person is 3 EUR.
