On May 17 at 2:30 p.m., we invite you to gather at the Kalniškė Battle Site (Šeštokai sen., Lazdijai district municipality), where we will honor the Lithuanian freedom fighters and their memory through music. We will also welcome the participants of the "Conscious Kilometers" march.
Professional Lithuanian musicians - singer Agnė Sabulytė and pianist Darius Mažintas - are joining forces for a historical-musical project that seeks to preserve the memory of freedom struggles and fighters, and to awaken civic awareness through the history of partisans in the context of current wars.
The concert will feature improvised songs of Lithuanian partisans. This is a silent word of gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. The memory of Lithuanian freedom fighters is alive in our history, in our memory and in songs...
