This year, Lazdijai invites everyone to write at least one letter - to a friend, neighbor, or someone you've always wanted to make happy. A letter is a small piece of your heart - traveling to another person.
On December 5th, we will meet at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, where the musical performance "Lost Letters", cheerful heroes and a joint creative adventure for children will be waiting. Songs and dances will be performed by the teams of the Lazdijai Cultural Center and the Lazdijai Art School. Young and old performers will create a real Christmas miracle that will shine together with the main city Christmas tree.
The whole city will speak through letters: the Christmas tree will be decorated with glowing envelopes, Christmas houses will be set up in the square, and one of them will have a festive call center where children will be able to call Santa Claus and share their wishes.
This Christmas, let's stop, breathe in peace, and give gifts of feelings rather than things. Let them travel in letters, postcards, little notes - anything that comes from the heart.
