DATE WITH NATURE
Nature is always with us – like a loyal friend. It is ready to accept, listen and comfort everyone. Nature generously rewards with peace all who are able to establish a connection with it. So I invite you to stop for a moment and find your inner peace surrounded by nature.
This exhibition is an album of my solo encounters in nature. Lithuanian forests, fields and meadows have become a space for exploration and discovery. I was looking for what often goes unnoticed, what we pass by in a hurry.
A flower gently protecting a raindrop, the first snowflakes falling on rosy-cheeked forest berries, or the suspended cry of a bird – all these are small miracles of nature. Each frame is a patiently awaited moment, an invitation to see the beauty that is right next to us.
Enjoying the company of nature, I got to know myself better. In the silence of nature, I heard my innermost thoughts, let go of everyday worries and made room for peace.
This time I invite you on a date. Let's take a walk together around the area, experience the four seasons, and feel nature, where the deepest feelings and the most meaningful stories lie.
About the author
| I am Audronė Makrickienė – a loving mother, grandmother, businesswoman, active choir member and passionate traveler. I believe that photographs allow us to stop time, and what enters the lens becomes eternal. I am not a professional photographer, because I only take pictures with a mobile phone camera. My photo archives are full of images from the most exotic corners of the world, but my heart always returns to Lithuania. It is here that I find true peace and inspiration – this is where my most beautiful shots were born. In the exhibition "Dating with Nature", I share the harmony I experienced in nature and my perspective on life - beauty and small miracles lie all around us, we just have to notice them. I hope that my exhibition will inspire you to devote more time to yourself, your thoughts, and help you establish a sincere connection with nature. |
