The five most important rules when going out into nature

International Mother Earth Day is celebrated today. Lazdijai TIC reminds you of the 5 most important rules when going out in nature.

  1. If you drive to the water body, keep in mind that it is forbidden to park motor vehicles closer than 25 m to the shore of the water body.
  2. Before and during fishing, persons must collect all municipal waste within a radius of 5 meters from the fishing area and then transport it to municipal waste collection containers.
  3. Motor vehicles can only enter and drive through the forest on the roads. Vehicles may be parked in the woods only in designated parking lots or on the side of the road, ensuring the possibility for other vehicles to drive on the road. When parking the vehicle on the side of the road, it is necessary to try not to run on moss, lichens, jams. We remind you that a meadow or forest floor is not a road.
  4. It is forbidden for natural persons to create fires and use open fires in the forest (except for fireplaces installed and marked accordingly in public recreation facilities), to throw out extinguished matches, smoke and other objects that may cause a fire.
  5. Responsible vacationers really don’t need to talk about the fact that litter isn’t allowed.
